Roses are a common ornamental plant with extensive applications in horticulture and landscape design. Traditional asexual reproduction in roses can lead to genetic variation and loss of genetic diversity. However, successive regeneration culture can solve these problems. In this article, we reviewed the progress of the successive regeneration culture of roses and introduced the methods, influencing factors, and application prospects of successive regeneration culture.
